I have purchased this shampoo bar recently. My hair is naturally oily, wavy, looks thin and flat on top of my head, and thick and frizzy at the bottom portion of my hair. The first time I had used the bar, I was stunned how much volume the top of my head got. It looked like I had used a volumizing hair spray. I used it with the conditioner bar, and the bottom portion of my hair did not look as thick and frizzy as before, so my hair had a more balanced look. The soft wavy curls of my hair also looked more defined. I have used it a few times more, and my hair still gets the volume effect. My hair does start to get oily a day or two after shampooing, but it seems not so much as before, and the volume effect is still there despite the roots being more oily. I must admit, getting a haircut that makes the scalp portion of the hair shorter does help with giving volume, since longer hair tends to get more weighed down with oil at the roots. Overall, I am loving this shampoo bar and highly recommend it, and that too all the more since it is organic.
